Finally, the 19-year old actress cum singer seems to have taken the right step forward, donning the stunning blue mullet sheer dress with sexy plunging neckline and sequined, blingy bikini shorts to expose her picture perfect thighs at the opening night of her South American tour in Puerto Rico. If reports are to be believed, the stunning actress left the audience gasping for their breath with her super sexy pop diva avatar. Looking absolutely grown up in the flowing dress, soft curls and minimalistic accessory, the gorgeous Disney Princess kept the fashion temperature soaring high throughout the concert with her outfit.
The blue mullet-esque ensemble: Yay or Nay?
The glamorous risqué electric blue showgirl-type costume was definitely 'Yay' with huge thumbs up from our side. Selena definitely carried it off with oodles of sex appeal and panache. The starlet looked super comfy and confident in her new look. She chose the comfortable heels in golden strappy sandals that teamed well with the sequined hot pants.
The sheer fabric of the dress made it look elegant as well as glamorous. The color was bright and vivacious as the actress herself. Selena, before the concert, had posted the pics of two ensembles on twitter and asked her fans to vote for one. The blue dress seems to have won the battle and was really a good break from the regular young teen style of Gomez.
The stunning outfit was certainly loved by the fashion critics as well as the audience, who have been used to see the Disney girl in rather sombre outfits as compared to this one. Selena is currently touring Central America, South America and the Caribbean, including Rio de Janeiro, Panama City, Mexico City, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo in a 10-stop trip which is an extension of her 'We Own the Night Tour' which began last year with her band. Selena had already been dropping hints on her keenness to change her image from a young Disney girl to a grown up hottie. It first came with purple hair highlights and finally this super hot risqué blue dress.
Although Selena Gomez is not going for a 360 degree change like her Disney counterpart Miley Cyrus, she is definitely aiming for a smoother image makeover.
