Mara graced the 2012 Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon in a striking black and white combo. The creatively cut white Thierry Mugler jacket over a black ASOS jumpsuit looks appreciable, but not as stylish as one would have hoped. Certainly the jacket is fashionable with its silky texture and cut, unfortunately the black jumpsuit is rather baggy around her willowy frame especially the flow of her pants, very unflatteringly. Another noticeable feature was her change in hairstyle, from a lacquered look she went for blunt bangs.

For the 14th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, Rooney Mara wowed the crowd with her beautiful plum dress designed by J Mendel. The dress first made its debut at the Fall/Winter 2012 segment from J. Mendel. Most attractive is the hue which is a dazzling color that enhanced her appearance to that of a delicate, elegant princess. A fantasy flair is evident in the dress, most notable in its plunging v-neckline, pleated bodice and full skirt. Also contributing to the theme was nude strapped pumps, dark lipstick and slicked hair.

Rooney Mara walked the red carpet in an amazingly structured white dress at the world premiere of ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ in London. Her gown gave her an ethereal appearance as it emphasized the pearliness of her skin and highlighted her sexy attributes. It hung saucily on her body, clinging to her curves in sweet drapes before falling with a flourish in a petal-like pattern.
