Staying true to their distinctive fashion preferences, Rihanna and Cheryl Cole have come with double the glamor quotient in their latest videos. Touted as the next Beyonce of Hollywood, Rihanna is doing every stint possible to make her fans feel content and flooded with her every moves. So, it goes without saying that her latest video Where Have You Been, which released last week on YouTube has lot more to offer than just the perky music and some sultry dance moves. The hit single, which has already roped in more than two million hits in just two days, features Rihanna in a tribal mode. Gussied up in a snazzy Roberto Cavalli zebra-print swimsuit, Rihanna has teamed it up with equally unwonted feathered headdress and an edgy harem pant.

Rihanna is seen shaking herself out in this bizarre-kinda harem pant, which unexpectedly perfectly blends with her war-painted tribal background. While Rihanna has been known for her experimental videos, it was utterly surprising to see Cheryl Cole flaunting something unusual for her latest video.

Somewhere in the Los Angeles, the British songstress Cheryl Cole was spotted flaunting the similarly-styled multi colored drop-crotch trousers. She was all decked up for her latest video venture for a single titled "Call My Name". Judging by the looks, her funky trouser doesn't seem to match up with the character and the funk of the video.

Thanks to these two revered songstresses sporting it up in their latest hit singles, harem pants and extremely punched-up tribal pants are making a full comeback in the La-La land. But, these stars need to comprehend that just because they can cinch over a plastic sheet over their body doesn't mean that the plastic sheet will become the next-big fashion thing on the block. Rihanna and Cheryl, if you are hearing us fashionistas out, please don't do fashion tortures on us with your utterly fatal sartorial selections. Else, the next thing we know, 2012 is the next mid 70s of the fashion world.
