With the support of a design team based in London, designer Phoebe Philo has triumphed with a stunning new S/S 2013 collection for Céline. The largely monochrome collection featured plenty of loose fitted dresses and trousers that looked comfortable yet stylish. Pared down trench coats, navel-deep V-neck dresses and frayed hems made dresses look stunning while easy fitted and flared trousers retained a distinct loose, long and fluid cut that made the line look relaxing and wearable.

The only non-monochrome outfit in the line was a gentle pink slip dress. Entwined arms of black or white silk were used as a signature on tops and cloak fastenings. Apart from some very interesting outfits, the collection also surprised one and all with brilliant accessories like flesh colored high heel shoes.

The line of outrageous new shoes also included colorful high-heels encased in mink offered in rich hues ranging from rich vermilion to pale lilac and even Big Bird yellow. Other mink laced offering on show were the leather pool sandals with a mink insole. The collection also showed off a new clutch bag dubbed the Soft Trio that is to be carried rolled at the top with three accordion compartments to hold all kinds of fashion essentials.
