Neiman Marcus has announced their list of the must have trends for Fall 2012. Designed to keep every wardrobe up to date with the latest fashion themes, the luxury department store has released a number of fashion spots in footwear, accessories and color palettes which should help everyone make the best fashion choices for themselves. The must have neutral shade this fall is going to be an almost black shade of navy. To be paired with staples and bright colors, the color is used in a polished calfskin tote by Prada and in a feather-trimmed suede bootie by Nicholas Kirkwood. A deep V-neckline sequin sleeveless dress by Robert Rodriguez and a rhinestone studded long-sleeve knit Bettie dress by Alice and Olivia glams up the navy scene perfectly.
Autumn ensembles will also benefit from an assortment of mixed greens ranging from forest to emerald that would be best paired with earth tones. The trending color was seen worked to perfection with tie-neck tweed-print sleeveless blouse by Tory Burch while Alexander McQueen used the color in a plunging neckline, stand collar framed knife-pleated tunic. In the accessories and footwear segment, the color was used in exotic skins with a snake-embossed metallic emerald leather pump by B Brian Atwood’s and calf hair, leopard print tote bag in teal by Nancy Gonzalez making green an appealing shade for accessories.
Digital prints are also really hot this season with items like the crepe de chine quilted and printed coat Oscar de la Renta, oxide print industrial jersey dress by Helmut Lang, the tunic-tee with a colorful bird print by McQ Alexander McQueen and the purple dragon print sheath dress by Roberto Cavalli rounding up the modernist trend for fashionistas this fall. Inspired by menswear, the “Borrowed from the Boys” trend uses typical masculine silhouettes to create a modern and feminine look for the girls. The theme was used to perfection by the lace-up oxfords in patent leather and sequin by Dolce and Gabbana, the tweed shoulder bag by Kate Spade and the jodhpur pants, silk hooded top and flannel jacket combo presented by Brunello Cucinelli.
