Female fans of George Lucas’ Star Wars have always had a hard time showing their love for the space opera. The only real option they’ve had so far is dressing up Princess Leia or getting her hairdo. But this incredible Jabba the Hutt purse may be the best new way to show off your love for all things Star Wars. Created by Astoria, New York-based artist Cat Penfold, the bag captures the essence of the slug-like and Dickensian alien Jabba the Hutt and is upcycled from a vintage vinyl bag.

The artist revamped the lizard-textured purse with a green wash of professional-quality acrylic paint at front and back and hand-painted the intense orange eyes and warty skin detailing on the bag. The bag was finished with a gloss finish UV-protective coating which makes it even more durable and water-proof. The beige vinyl bag comes with an alligator or lizard skin-like texture on the outside with a stripy fabric lining in green on the inside.

The interior features a zippered pocket and the bag comes with a magnetic closure. The bag measures 3.5 inches deep x 12.75 inches wide x 7 inches tall which is just about sufficient to hold all kinds of girlie stuff and then some. The bag also comes with an 11.5 inch long strap so it can also be worn as a sling back. Jabba the Hutt Purse is one of a kind and can be purchased from the artist’s Etsy store for $80.
