Jimmy Choo have collaborated with Rob Pruitt for a mind blowing new project called the capsule collection which has had fashionistas in frenzy for months now. Choo has just revealed that the collection is ready for pre-order and will be set for retail through his boutique come November 2012. The collaboration between the contemporary artist and the now legendary shoe designer boasts of a visual exuberance and iconoclastic humor that has resulted in playful and profound shoe art.

Using some of the recurring artistic themes from Pruitt, the whimsical looking collection heavily references Pruitt’s art influences and blends it with Choo’s iconic glamour. Pruitt uses his trademark graphic black detailing with dégradé color and glitter pandas and zebras to create several original designs. One of the pieces features angel and devil pandas that marks the dual nature of the typical Jimmy Choo girl.
The entire collection boasts 19 styles of accessories, bags and shoes made out of materials specially developed for the line. Repeating angel and devil panda patterns are used in the dégradé leather linings of the shoes that come with hand finished soles in an eye catching wash of dégradé colors.
Glitter zebra sandals, marabou pom pom, glammed up boudoir mule, glitter zebra ballet pumps and jelly sandals offer buyers a chance to glimpse into the psyche of the two masters while classic Choo originals like the ANOUK pump are reinterpreted for a newer audience.
