The Cannes Festival has already been viewed by so many. It is not a big deal any longer, yet we provide you with a couple of stars who we thought were really looking their best, and had the most stunning dresses.
1. Angelina Jolie
Surely the best dressed indeed. Jolie was in a brown gown designed by Atelier Versace. This is a dress which went well with her skin tone, her stunning looks and her poise. It was a strapless dress in deep brown color with a slit on the left side and bow detail.
2. Jane Fonda

Jane, at her age, looked lively and remarkable in her white Emilio Pucci dress made in silk. She walked the red carpet for the premiere of 'Sleeping Beauty'. The sensational lady has never looked more graceful.
3. Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth definitely looked ravishing at the Cannes Film Festival 2011. She wore a Stella McCartney fitted gown. It was a beige and gold sequin-embellished gown. One has to admit that the tall, lanky actress definitely looked ravishing in this full-sleeve backless dress with a slit on the left.
4. Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek, well known from a number of movies like 'Freida' and 'Bandidas', has worked with great actors like Antonio Banderas, George Clooney, Laurence Fishburne and many more. The Mexican actress looked splendid in her metallic grey Gucci gown. This gown was strapless, heavily embroidered, and was made in fushcia silk and chiffon combination.
5. Uma Thurman
Uma Thurman, the famous actress from the movie ‘Kill Bill’ was wearing a grey, body-fitting Chanel 2008 couture gown, which was made from silk taffeta. It had a ribbon detail in a darker shade of grey at the back. She accessorized the gown with a grey clutch and flats. The tall, slim lady looked her best on the red carpet.
6. Lily Aldridge

The strikingly tall and beautiful Lily looked really flamboyant in her champagne Ralph Lauren gown. It was a unique gown - the front was made in silk and the train in chiffon. It was a jeweled, backless dress.
7. Mia Wasikowska
She looked radiant on the red carpet. The lady has a very classic beauty. She would remind one of a princess from the early 60s movies. Mia wore a fabulous, elegant and simple Valentino lace gown in off-white, accessorized with a satin clutch and her hair pinned up.
8. Eva Mendes
Eva Mendes wore a midnight blue Stella McCartney gown. She teh look with accessorized with a belt around the waist. It was a one-sleeve silk pleated gown. She looked glamorous in her own unusual way.
9. Penelope Cruz

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star walked the red carpet with Johnny Depp in a navy blue, Stella McCartney body fitting dress. The dress was partially velvet. She accessorized it with the same color satin pumps with heels. She truly looked remarkable and sublime. The dress also had a black back which is unique. The material at the bodice was a shade of blue different from the rest of the dress.
10. Jessica Chastain
