With the concluding ceremony of New York fashion week , one thing was pretty clear the color of the season that is ‘WINE’. From the designers like Alexander Wang to Victoria Beckham, from Marc Jacobs to a new comer Prabal Gurung all in some or the other way played with wine color.
The color was presented in such a manner that it took place in everyone hear t. the color was used subtly with a cool and mild appearance. The color was used in upper length more than lower, that provides a balance to the eye.
Designer Olivier Theyskens used the color traditionally whereas well know young Marc Jacobs played with the shade in all textures and lengths ranging from a pailette knee-length skirt to a pleated maxi version. A new kid on the block Prabal Gurung showed all varietals in a color-saturated fur coat over a sheer black dress, although he has to try harder next time as the dresses were not that appealing as of the experienced ones.
