1.1950’s: The powerful clothing
The era of 1950’s was known for empowerment, supremacy, authority which reflected in the women clothing of that time. That era had a very strong influence of power on the attire that the working women use to wear. They use to spend a lot on fashion and the styles were really expensive at that time. 2.1960’s: the era of MOD fashion
The era focused on bright colors since the women were opening up in this decade and known as MOD era. An embellished designed, extravagant color, horizontal and vertical patterns was all about this era. When everyone was trying deep colors, why would work women be held back? The era got office wear all new design and style; women were not scared of wearing bright color to the conference rooms and were very confident.
3.1970’s: The HOT era
The decade saw all new styles of women. This was the era of libration of women who were not anxious to try miniskirts or tunics in the office premises. They use to look extremely sexy, probably that was the ear from where women were started getting noticed as a HOT POT.
4.1980’s: The All time look
The fashion of 1980’s is a memorable and never ending era. It is one of the most favorite eras for fashionistas. A woman was beginning to think differently and was thinking of freedom in this decade which reflected in this loud era. 80s fashion look was a tailored look and office goers were choosing all short of color in the office, there was a lot of drama in the clothing of this era.
5.1990’s: Dressing down era
This era was lil low on fashion; the ladies have already seen many fashion decade and wanted to break the rules of fashion. This was the era of relaxed fashion, Working from home became common and people were taking fashion lightly. Dressing down was the favorite fashion then.
6.2000: The New look of fashion
The Era of new fashion was evolved, the fashion at its best. Dressings in feminine styles were reintroduced over the course of the decade. 2000 saw many rehashed fashion from past eras especially from 1980’s. Loud colors and extravagant patterns were reintroduced. Normally ladies wore skirts and trouser for bottom and shirt and t-shirt for top.
