However, this season, designers are pulling out some innovative and creative ways to make polka dots flattering and chic!
Spring 2009 designers are pairing spring colored polka dots, like pinks and blue, with bright colored shoes, simple solid color staples and expressive jewelry. Also, accessories seem to be the key to pulling off the look and include chunky geometrical shoes, sexy headbands, and sultry neck lines. My favorite look is taking polka dots and adding some girlish glamor to it. Designers like Iceberg pull this off by pairing feminine polka dotted dresses with a "statement" belt and strappy yet sexy stilettos. So yeah, polka dots are back, but re-invented and way better than before.
