South Korean women can now wear miniskirts

South Korean women will certainly feel happy after reading the news that they are now officially allowed to wear mini skirts. In 1970's under military dictatorship wearing mini-skirts was considered indecent exposure and of course an offense, even long haired men were forced to undergo an instant haircut.

Most of the dictatorial restrictions under the Minor Offenses Act were eliminated in 1987 when South Korea became a democratic country.

The National Police Agency said:

Showing too much skin in public places will no longer be classed as indecent exposure and will be deleted from the Minor Offense Act.

Well it sounds good that South Korea is altering its outdated rules and keeping pace with the world.
