South Korean government is launching a dress code campaign next week to encourage its people to dress lightly - without a tie or a jacket - this summer to cut energy consumption and to lessen greenhouse gas emissions.

The "Cool Biz" campaign is a government effort to promote its summertime dress-code in the private sector, to cut down on air conditioning use.
The public sector had already adopted the "no-tie" rule, the previous year.
Coming up, the campaign will kickstart with a fashion show at the main government complex that will feature two government ministers and a lawmaker as models.
