I have always been an ardent admirer of glass-works, although I’ve not thought much about glass jewelries owing to their vulnerable nature. But once I came across Sci-Fi’s Zero jewelry collection, I could not resist the temptation of trying them out. The amalgamation of metal and glass, the handiwork of Tomohiro Seguchi known for his metal works and Kana Umeda who specializes on glass art, has given a completely new dimension to jewelry designing by bringing in elements of science and fiction in a single fold. I am in a quandary trying to find a proper definition for the Zero collection – is it a contemporary or futuristic jewelry collection?
