Most fashionistas would agree with me that the most spectacular and most expensive of our dresses are never worn more than twice in a whole year and are left hanging in closets awaiting the next routine trip to the drycleaners majority of the time. To avoid dresses from meeting this sorrowful fate, designer Mary Huang created Rhyme & Reason, a collection of white knitwear dresses that use light as a materiel to create transformative fashions.

A combination of woven cotton jersey and hand-crocheted flowers, each piece in the collection has about two dozen bright white LEDs embedded in them which lends each piece an aura of magic and mystery. Running on both battery and mains power via an adapter, the dresses also double as cool designer lamps when not in use which lends then an unprecedented functionality.
