The most awaited Film Festival of the year has begun and the race for the best dress has also started. The Festival is as usual filled with beautiful ladies and handsome men who try to put their best foot forward for the season.
On the first day of Cannes fest 2011, a few celebs looked good while others looked extremely fine. Amongst the latter one were two actresses – mega star Angelina Jolie and the gorgeous ‘Mean Girls’ star Rachel McAdams. Both appeared on the red carpet wearing nude dresses and both looked absolutely stunning. Let’s see who wins our match up.
Angelina Jolie:
Actress Angelina Jolie wore a gorgeous nude color dress by Salvatore Ferragamo for the Kung Fu Panda photo call. This mother of six has been repeatedly honored amongst the best dressed women at Cannes. She clubbed her simple yet elegant dress with a thin brown belt and matching pumps. Her monochromatic look was certainly better than many celebs on the red carpet today.
Rachel McAdams
The ‘Midnight in Paris’ actress did something different on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival 2011. Unlike other ladies, she chose to wear a gold bustier top and high-waisted pants by Monique Lhuillier which looked really chic on the carpet and broke the monotony of gowns. The bustier is surely the look of the season and always makes you look lean and slim. This was a step up from the white knee-length dress Adams wore last year.
