Moms, please don't ape your daughters

If the fashion police actually existed, they would jail all mothers trying to wear stuff from their daughter's closet.

Women in their 40's who think that their peeping buddha bellies or arms that flap in the wind look cute are sadly mistaken. Most of them have the misconception of looking young wearing bra tanks, hip huggers or barely there shorts.

Its okey to dance, climb mountains, scuba dive and live young, but heaven sake, please, dress your age.

Old Navy, Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch, Mandee are not the brand to shop from for these ladies, specially when these stores have teenagers hawking their clothes.

Teenage girls have all the permit to dress in a sexy mannerism, as they explore their newfound sexuality, and dress. But for their moms, it should be an issue of dignity and identity.

The clothes should convey who they are and reflect the proud of the years that they have accumulated.

Khakis, jeans, turtlenecks, cotton capris, tees and linen skirts are the safest bets.
