A gala event, literally! A night full of celebrities, gathered for the purpose of honoring the legendary fashion god, Alexander McQueen’s retrospective exhibition, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty.
Celebrities and big fashion names joined the MET Ball night in their best costumes. Obviously, no such event can happen without a fashion disaster attached to it. So, to carry forward the custom of fashion faux pas, Rihanna took over the responsibility of dressing in a weird manner.
The 23-year-old singer was dressed in a sheer lacy dress by Stella McCartney which looked really sexy till Rihanna turned her back. The shutterbugs went crazy at the sight of the singer’s barely-covered bum. She looked attractive with her hair in a fish tail-shaped side braid, and had styled her dress with turquoise earrings. The ‘S&M’ singer went for a dramatic look with blood red lipstick and smoky gray eye shadow.
One of the other attendees who dared to bare their flesh at the MET Ball was actress Renee Zellweger, who showed off her back cleavage. Whereas actress Christina Ricci was no less reticent in showing off her awful Zac Posen-designed nude dress and which most resembled a spider web.
