Manish Arora, the cult Indian designer opened the Paris Fashion Week and it was an awesome show that took everyone by a surprise. Manish presented a grand collection of ready-to-wear clothes. As expected his collection amalgamated the traditional Indian design with western cuts and glamorous fabrics.

Manish gave a lot of attention to the details which indeed made the attires look beautiful. Patchwork, embroidery, embellishments were all present; the only difference was that instead of the saris they made maxi dresses and jackets look beautiful. One evening gown glittered on the ramp with some 1,500 multi-colored butterflies. The collection had a hippy element and was a grand collection indeed. Head pieces were given a special place too and there was an ocean of colors.
Manish regarding the collection said,
I wanted to give myself a big challenge. Let's face it, Paris is the city for fashion. I wanted a bigger audience, bigger press. I'll be here again next season. To stay among the big names is a real challenge.
The Indian designer, who already is a big name in India, it seems won't be forgotten by the fashion capital soon. He really made big at the event. Cheers to Manish and fashion!
