Indian fashion is increasingly gaining a global appeal. Ace Indian designer, Manish Arora's collection on the first day of London Fashion week was highly appreciated by the international audience.

The show, which got a lengthy applause, was a typical brainchild of the designer, rich of sharp colors and psychedelic prints. Inspired by the '60s the collection focused on rich embroidery, unique fabrics and dresses in structured trapeze. The experiment with different dress materials added a sense of relief and optical illusions to the dresses.
To achieve the effect, fabrics chosen are stiff and glossy, such as lurex, satins, wool and silks printed with metallic and luminescent dyes,
Manish said.

The bright rainbow colour collection was all based on black base. The show was Arora's fourth venture in Londin. He launched his own fashion line in 1997, and is all set to design a line for Levi's.
