Maldini and Vieri battle against fakes

Top Italian soccer players Christian Vieri and Paolo Maldini have initiated a campaign against cheap imitations of their fashion creations.

Vieri and Maldini, launched their fashion label Sweet Years, a few years ago. The T-shirts, caps and other gear - all bearing the red heart logo - became an instant hit .

Posters showing the two soccer stars above the logo 'Only buy it where the real heart beats' are soon going to embellish Italian city billboards.

Maldini and Vieri join the league of Italian fashion companies who are struggling to encourage people to buy only original clothing products from genuine stores.
