Louis Vuitton, the luxury leader, for the first time showcased its collection outside Paris, in Tokyo on June 7th 2006.
The show was created and presented by Director, Marc Jacobs. It took place at Yumenoshima Park, in a specially built marquee.
The show not only witnessed the fashion who's who, but also a trail of celebrities and trend-setters.
The glitzy list included Bernard Arnault, President & CEO of LVMH Moet Hennessy - Louis Vuitton and Yves Carcelle, Wing Shya (Hong Kong), Xu Jing-Lei (China), Chen Bo Lin (Taiwan), Simon Yam (Hong Kong), Nigo (Japan), Ryoko Yonekura (Japan), Nanaka Matsushima (Japan), Kyoko Hasegawa (Japan) to name but a few.
