The 'In This Skin' singer, Jessica Simpson has been sued for $100 million by an apparel company claiming that she defaulted in her contract by failing to promote their product.

The complainant, Tarrant Apparel Group, says that Simpson inked a multimillion-dollar three-year licensing deal in December 2004 to launch a line of low-priced clothing, as per which she was supposed to be promote the products at public events, shows and appearances.
However, the suit alleges that Simpson attended very few events, which failed to provide the promised support.
