The Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Spring/Summer 2007, starting October 31 in Mumbai, would showcase 43 leading Indian designers along with four international fashion designers.

The international designers include Nathalie Garcon and fashion house Leonard, both from France, and Clive Rundle and designer brand Sun Goddess, both from South Africa.

Retail brands, Allen Solly and Stanza, will also showcase their collection for the first time at LFW.

Remembering the shame brought to the event by wardrobe malfunction, Lakme Lever Vice President Anil Chopra said that the organisers were this time taking stringent measures to avoid any such slips.

A set of guidelines prepared will have to be strictly adhered to by all designers and choreographers.
