Grafitti artist Banksy whose work in Liverpool has included the giant rat at the top of Duke Street has set a new auction record for his work with pictures of Kate Moss.

A series of Moss' pictures in which the supermodel was depicted in the style of Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe prints, fetched £50,000.
The auction was held at Sotheby's in London and the pictures were bought by a US art collector.
This however has established the fact that Kate Moss sells high in any form and she has rightly been voted the most influential celebrity.
