French movie icon Jane Birkin, who has long been avoiding paparazzi was in London recently to launch a new perfume.
Despite the fact that she hates perfumes, Birkin created the L'Air de Rien with Miller Harris.
She derived inspiration after visiting her brother Andrew's house in Wales, where he had designed and created a perfume lab for his forthcoming film, Perfume.
She added: 'All the things usually associated with heady, dark-haired women like hyacinth, tuberose and lily-of-the-valley made me vomit when they were enclosed in a bottle so this one is much more me - I wanted a little of my brother's hair, my father's pipe, floor polish, empty chest of drawers, old forgotten houses.'
Floor polish, smoke pipe...hair....well you try out first and give me the reviews.
