We all know that Celebrities like actor, singers are getting paid for their work only. But do you know they are getting hefty sum for attending fashion shows? You might be thinking that I am joking, but this is true. Recently Katie Holmes, a renounced American actress and wife of Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise, got $50,000 for attending a fashion week for sitting in front row while lesser stars like Kidman or Barton would get $25,000 to $40,000. Holmes took $100,000 for 15 minutes walk on the ramp.
According to an article published on Forbes.com, big designers hire "wranglers" who pay famous people to sit in the front rows of their fashion shows. Anyway, there may be some variation in the amount paid to these stars, but what is surprising is just how much money these celebrities can earn in one year and more importantly, how it help designers sell clothes?
