An era of fashion ended in the fashion industry with the death of the pioneer model Naomi Sims. Earlier this month. Naomi who created a whole new outlook of black is beautiful in the fashion world died because of breast cancer at the age of 61. She appeared on various magazine covers since 1960's. She was taken as a true fashionista and the first black model to achieve the status of the white ones. She was the first African-American to show certain levels of exposure at that time gaining her a lot of popularity. She also endorsed for many beauty brands, clothing lines and fragrances giving them a whole statement.
Well, I would say that era of her style and beauty didn’t end with Naomi as her legacy shall live on forever! R.I.P
