This post of mine might be of more interest to an environmentalist than a fashionista.
To culminate the earth week, the Guam Environmental Protection Agency organized
a Trash 'n' Fashion Show, in which outfits out of from recycled material were made by the local contestants.
There was a lot of hype surrounding recyclable fashion materials, organic fabrics and eco friendly products this entire week.
What I don't like about the entire affair is that, why do such things make headlines during green events like earth week and earth day. If we keep encouraging and publicizing such events entire year long we might be able to overcome the environment crisis in a better manner.
