Fashion world is a crazy world. It is an ocean with high rising waves which throws challenges for the surfers and present a soothing sight for the onlookers.

So if you are a person who like to enjoy the beauties of the great ocean of fashion then the new collection by the uncle- nephew duo Von Jolly is sure to woo you.
Sarawakian designers Raymond Jolly, 53, and Aaron George, 29, of Von Jolly are launching a three-piece collection made of pineapple fibre. pineapple fibre is 50% silk and 50% pineapple fibre or pina and hence the name tepina.

The exotic fabric which has a low thread count and rough in texture is not suitable for batik due to a lack of control over its colour spreading tendency but the batik lover duo has made it possible through their dedication and their love towards batik. Aaron says:
The others may get their fabrics from Euro Moda or Gulati's, but our forte is batik. All our fabrics are hand-painted batik designed by us. We see to it that the end result comes out as expected - refined and very, very exclusive.
The designer duo have won the grand prize in the fashion category of the Piala Seri Indon batik design competition and have dressed celebrities like Sazzy Falak, Wan Zaleha Radzi and Asha Gill.
This Sarawakian delight is a pleasant change from the regular fashion stuff and the credit goes to the exotic climate of Sarawak.
