Recent researches reveal that one in six British women have purchased fashion items online, highlighting the importance of clothing and footwear retailers selling over the internet.
Out of these net savvy shoppers, 18% buy at least once a month online
Time-starved and affluent females see Internet as an easy resource. Convenience (52%) is the most highlighted factor of why females shop via the internet for clothing, footwear, lingerie and accessories. This is closely followed by the ability to browse at leisure (12%) and availability of sizes (7%).
While shopping online, the range of products is the most important factor determining which website a woman chooses to shop at. British women look for websites, which have a wider choice of products and brands available.
