If you're having a hard time letting go of your favorite pair of Del Forte jeans, yet you can't bear the thought of throwing them out, then you may wanna read on.

Tierra Del Forte's Project Rejeaneration brings commitment to responsible design to a new level. So when you're finally ready to say goodbye (sob!) to your old pair of Del Forte's, whether you've worn them for six months or six years, you can send them back to the company. They will recycle your old pair and use them to produce the second generation of jeans: Rejeaneration Denim. Check out their latest piece, The Janelle Skirt created by accessory designer Janelle Pietrzak.

This unique styles is trimmed with vintage kimono fabric, hand-stitched embroidery and a spray of hand made rosettes collected from around the world. Del Forte garments are sewn and finished in Los Angeles.

And what do you get out of it? Well, for starters you can feel good about yourself for not having thrown that old pair in the trash and adding to the world's waste management woes (pat on the back for you for that), and on top of it you also get 10% off on your next purchase of Del Forte denims. Of course you can also choose to donate that discount to the 'The Sustainable Cotton Project', the grower programs of which help move farmers through the changeover from chemically-dependent to more biological sound approaches.

Who could have imagined that saving the Eco-system could be as easy as recycling an old pair of jeans!
