DIY Fashion: Funky jeans and denim headbands

There is a designer in each one of us, all we need to do is find that creative side of our personality. Lets start with something very simple like converting your normal denim jeans into a piece of hot-shot funky attire. And then have a headband in the same fabric with same designs. Trust me this is going to be a really fun activity and it will make you love what you are wearing, because you will be the designer!

Materials required:

1) An old denim jeans

2) Apparel cutter

3) Sequins and beads in all designs

4) Laces in different colors

5) Scissors and glue

Step 1:

Take your old denim jeans and cut it from the bottom. When the hem is broken loose then take out the fringes to give it a rough look.

Step 2:

Now take the apparel cutter and make cuts on the knees of the jeans. Cut it unevenly and prefer not making very deep slashes.

Step 3:

Take the sequins and with the help of a glue, stick them on the left leg of the jeans. Be a little creative and try making designs like some flowers or the other cool ones.

Step 4:

Now take the lace, prefer a broad one and stitch it at the bottom. Hem it at the inner side of the jeans and let the fringes fall on the lace.

Step 5:

For the headband take the piece of the denim you had cut earlier from the jeans and join its ends with the help of an elastic.

Step 6:

For the design create a similar design to that of your jeans with the beads and the sequins.

Step 7:

Combine the jeans and the headband with a chiffon white shirt and some high white heels. It will make you look really funky and cool at a casual gathering.
