Milan fashion week has brought curvaceous women back in fashion. The fashion event was kick started with Elena Miro presenting its autumn-winter collection for the fuller-figured women.

We are the only label for larger women to take part in large European fashion shows,
Mauro Davico, spokesman for the Italian design house was quoted saying.
This is the fourth time when the brand is showcasing its collection at Milan, presenting sexy styles for women sized 42 (European) and upwards.
Making clothes for size 42 is normal because it is the average women's size,
Davico added.
The following week will see the fashion biggies including Dolce Gabanna, Armani, Fendi and Versace.
The death of a supermodel last year drew attention of the authorities towards the problems of anorexia and under-age models plaguing the fashion industry. Following such casualties, the Italian government and two top fashion associations agreed to a code of ethics. Earlier this week, Madrid fashion week also said a no to five anorexic models.
It is important to put models who are healthy on the catwalk,
said Davico.
