The charismatic Chanel’s cruise fashion line was contemplated a couple of days before the Cannes festival 2011 at the French Rivera. Chanel has always come up with the most chic and gorgeous dresses, be it see thru or not. The cruise fashion line includes a variety of elegant contemporary dresses commendable in their own way and perfect enough to adorn any Hollywood celebrity.
The dresses worn by the models were bias-cut gowns of ivory silk that twinkled at the neckline with oversized pearls. The dresses were designed to show that complacent getaway teasing yet chic and stunning look. Some dresses, like lean pencil skirt suits with bedazzled buttons and long pleated dresses in creamy silk, looked like they were channeling the flippy tennis skirts of oldies, stunning everyone and leaving mouths open. The footwear looked like a mixture of knee-high boots and flip flops. There were some models who came out in a black-white combo of dresses, while the main fashion line walk was awaited.
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and Clemence Poesy, who were present for the fashion show, longed for a piece of the pearl embedded gowns to wear down the red carpet. Other girls cherished them just as much. Lively managed to get a white dress, embellished with pearls.
