In a story that can only be described as the triumph of human spirit, Kelly Knox, who was born without a left forearm, won a BBC3 competition and was crowned UK's best disabled model. The 23-year old had vowed at the age of seven never to wear a prosthetic arm and kept strong on her word even after she won the top prize of a contract with a top agency, Take 2 Model Management, and a fashion shoot for Marie Claire magazine.

Kelly, who truly embodies resolution and grit, also plans to give up her career as a credit controller for a soft furnishings company and become a full-time model. We wish Kelly the best of luck and hope that her story can inspire other kids with disabilities to follow their dreams too!
