Lakme Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2007 appears less of a fashion show and more of a Bollywood show. It seems as if fashion is being overpowered by glitz and glamour of Bollywood and that is the reason why actors and actresses are being sought to promote the works of designers.
Bollywood's famous Khan brothers Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail, their mother Salma and step-mother Helen were especially called to attend Seema Khan's show, in which Malaika Arora, Arbaaz's actress-wife ramped in a short white wedding dress with a long trail.
In designer Narendra Kumar's show, John Abraham was the showstopper.
From these and many more evidences of actors and actresses making guest appearances in fashion shows and trotting the ramp for designers prove that fashion industry is dwindling and needs the support of Bollywood stars to survive.
