Ashley Isham is one designer to look out for and yes, I am a fan already. Glamorous was the whole collection and celebrities will soon be catching up in his attires. In one word, the show was a 'hit'. Initially, I thought of the collection as nothing much but just overlaid bling. The frills and the cuts of these dresses are surely admirable. Also, I would love trying these on one day; they definitely need a lot of oomph to carry on.
Where one part featured these uber glam and blinging dresses, the other part had those lovely and soft dresses. There were no prints but the cuts were feminine and fabulous. High belted waists flaunted here too. The draping was absolutely gorgeous as well. Chiffon was the fabric of the day.
Next came in the minis as the daywear and the color palette followed white, silver and black. Here too broad belts made their mark and transparency was the main feature. The prints or graphics were minimally used but perfectly incorporated. The collection might not be that practical but some of the features can be carried on for the next season and you'll be the 'highlight' of the day...ah, I mean the trendsetter of the day!
