One of the most established designers in the fashion world is all set to sell his fashion empire.
I am talking of nobody but, Italian designer Giorgio Armani. In an exclusive interview with Handelsblatt newspaper, the ace designer who is A-listers swear by revealed that he is looking for a buyer for his fashion group.
I am ready to sell to the one with the best offer,
he was quoted saying.
The newspaper reported that Armani did not want to comment whether France based cosmetic giant L'Oreal is interested in acquiring his company.
L'Oreal could be a partner. But if anyone else makes a higher offer, then he can also be the partner,
he said.
Is this an indication of a major fashion deal? I just hope that this does not translate to ace designer Georgio Armani's retirement.
