Aishwarya graces Vogue India's anniversary issue

There is no better way to celebrate the anniversary of Conde Nast's arrival in India than to put the face of Indian beauty on its cover page. No wonder, that's exactly what they did. They saved Aishwarya Rai for the best photo shoot hitherto done by Vogue India. Shot in London, the lady wears pastels in almost all the frames. A Dior gown on the cover page is a little too bridal for my taste but what is inside is worth a million bucks. Armani Prive, Valentino couture and Halsten has been bodied beautifully on the former Miss World and the hairdo is also rather unconventional for Ash who tends to wear it straight and pruned all the time. Styled by Anaita Shroff Adjania, this issue will stand out amongst all others, not only because it marks one successful year in India for Vogue but because the cover page has never looked more stupendous than this.
