1. Preparing the felt
a. Draw a circle with 3 inches of diameter on a paper or a chart. This is your sample pattern that fits the area around your ears. You may change the size accordingly.
b. Keep the sample pattern on the felt material and draw the outline with a marker. You need four such felt materials for two sides of the ear muffs on both sides.

c. Use the gap to pull out the furry side. The final piece should have the furry side outside and felt material inside. Do the same for the other piece too.
5. Inserting sponge or cotton
a. Now you have the ear muffs almost ready. At this point, you just need to insert fluffy cotton through the one inch gap.
b. Insert the optimum amount of cotton inside the ear muff. Do the same for both the ear muffs.

6. Preparing the headband
a. Create a sample rectangular pattern similar to one made for felt. The length of this pattern should match with the linear length of your headband.
