Derrick Rose, the famed Chicago Bulls point guard and sneaker designer extraordinaire has been sorely missed for the major part of the 2011-12 NBA season. Sadly, the explosive athlete may also be missing next season though he has already given his fans something pretty to hold on to in the meanwhile. Rose has just created his most personal and premium project to date. The signature sneaker is called the adidas adiZero Rose 3.0 and is the third sneaker designed by the basketballer.

The adidas adiZero Rose 3.0 snealer also boasts of a reflective D Rose logo on the inside of the oversized tongue.

Rose’s background is also reflected in the “Chicago call-outs” located on the inner side of the tongue which shows the 73rd and Paulina landmark from the neighborhood of Englewood as well as an illustration depicting Rose’s family tree. The shoe will be offered in “home” (grey/black/red) and “away” (black/white/red) colorways along with seven other color options.
