Whether it is the designers' choice or the celebrities' wish or mood, it often happens that celebs commit fashion faux pas during important events which even include the Red Carpet galas. Despite receiving a lot of flak, shocking fashion faux pas have loomed large time and again that have etched themselves on the minds of the fans and fashion fraternity alike.
It is really hard to assess if they do it with a purpose to draw loads of attention or they are totally clueless when it comes to dressing up or wearing make up. Here are some of the fashion faux pas committed by celebs in this month.
1. Kelly Osbourne
At the 5th Annual Art of Elysium's Heaven Gala in Los Angeles, California, Kelly Osbourne looked so granny-ish with the grey, platinum bleached hair!! Her dress looked like as if she had just returned after playing a game of sack race. Or is it a blend of a vest, a poncho and an obscure black dress? She should have either stuck to a grey dress or a black one. This combo looked terrible. Even her skin tone appeared so out of place!! A yellow foundation with pale pink lipstick!!
2. Rain Phoenix
Okay Ma'am, you are a celeb; but that doesn't mean that you would escape with anything!! Rain Phoenix, sister of Joaquin Phoenix recently posed for the paparazzi in this wacky tacky getup at the 5th Annual Art of Elysium's Heaven Gala in Los Angeles, California. She offended the fashion police when she chose to wear a low-cut blazer, sequined shorts and leg warmers, that too of different lengths!
3. Emma Stone
Emma Stone made a rare fashion faux pas when she party-hopped in Los Angeles wearing a bizarre dress featuring flesh-colored sleeves.It was hard to tell where her arms started and where her sleeves ended! Or should we say that she looked like she was wearing a Halloween costume? Even her makeup seemed to be obscure. She must have either given herself too much of a tan or used excessive bronzer. Well, whatever!! You looked a lot like an Oscar statue Emma.
4. Amanda Peet
You have truly committed a fashion faux pas Amanda!! What's with this unflattering tiered Marc Jacobs gown? Seriously, what were you thinking? You are a celeb for God's sake not a peasant girl!! Or were you trying to bring the nostalgic vintage Parisienne fashion in vogue? Oh!! Did I forget to add that you also looked like a snow covered Christmas tree?

So you had dinner at the BOA steak house, that's cool. But who asked you to dress up like a pink candy for that? Well folks, that's how she looked when she dressed up for a steak dinner in Los Angeles. The 'Disaster' singer truly lived up to her song when she dressed up! She was wearing a colorful and candy pink ensemble, which hardly seemed appropriate for a fancy dinner at BOA.
