Anyone who has grown up watching cartoons surely has fantasized about having their hearts burst out of their chests at the sight of a pretty woman. Gory as it may be, the fantasy can now be brought into reality with the help of the help of this cool new Augmented Reality T-Shirt by the unfortunately named Swedish developer Fingerfunk. Even though the t-shirt doesn’t allow you to have your organs bursting out of your chest in the literal sense of the word but it can help you present a visual of what it would look like if an alien popped out of your chest.
To make the effect work, you would need to first buy the t-shirt from Fingerfunk’s online store and download the app from the Apple Store or Google Play onto your smartphone. Then, each time you hold the phone up to the t-shirt, it will appear to come to life with a chestburster (from the Alien movie franchise) popping delightfully out of your chest. The t-shirt has roughly the same appeal as a Jack in the Box and we’re more than disappointed that it doesn’t come with any real 3D displaying capabilities. But we’re sure someone somewhere is simply dying to have this Augmented Reality T-Shirt and we’re sure we’ll see a lot of people trying to imitate what this t-shirt does with other, more disturbing pop-out augmented imagery.
