Over the past few weeks we have seen a lot of the top names in the fashion industry present their forecast for spring/summer 2013 though everyone has been desperately been waiting for Versace to reveals what silhouettes and color palates they think would be in vogue for the season. And the Italian fashion powerhouse did not disappoint their legions of fans with yet another memorable collection.

The Versace Spring 2013 Show showcased a clever combination of leather and lace with billowing sleeves being of the most surprising elements seen through the collection. The ‘70s-inspired line was dominated by shades of pink, blue, teal, orange, black and gold. The clothing was accessorized with pieces like leather clutches, cross-body bags in exotic patterns, studded belts, statement sunglasses, strappy metallic sandals and sandal boots.
Standout items in the collection included lace-appliquéd, crop tops, mini dresses and hot shorts that were accessorized with studded low-slung belts and finished with leather jackets and sleek blazers. The distinct '70s bohemian vibe of the collection was epitomized by crushed silk tops with a billowy silhouette that were paired with lace-adorned pants. The flowy lines carried through to high-slit seductive gowns in pink, teak and orange. Ivory and turquoise hued dresses with stud and metal disc embellishments also made waves at the show.
